This bull statue in Ceret in the Pyrenees-Orientales is a reminder that this part of the world looks as much to Barcelona for its cultural references as it does to Paris or Toulouse. Ceret has a wonderful new modern art gallery featuring an exquisite set of ceramic bowls decorated by Picasso with scenes from the bullfight. All very dramatic.
