Counting Tails...

Dear Diary,

Since Ollie started to show up in Auntie's tree I have been counting tails every morning...and afternoon too!  I know that Ollie has to eat but just not my little ones!  I do worry about them.  Rudy has been building lots of snow tunnels - "bolt holes"- so that makes me feel a bit more at ease.

It is so nice to wake up and not see more snow piled up.  We are entering a warmer and storm-free period for the next 7-8 days; that makes me feel so much better.  Chris will bring his friend and the heavy equipment in this weekend and that will make things easier.  We are not out of the woods yet, not by a long shot.  March can be a brutal month but we will deal with it one day, one storm at a time.
