Academic Archers

Yesterday I said that we will be giving the ‘Birth of the Archers’ talk to a hundred undergraduates in our village hall.  I was wrong – it was ninety eight graduates – they were university lecturers and the like.
 
Not exactly wonderful photos, but the main blip is the Academic Archers siting down half an hour late to hear the talk, and just for the record Jim Latham in full flow is at extra.  A little bit about the event is here and here and here.  We are told that there may be something in the Sunday Times tomorrow.


For the record, John and Louise at the Bull put on a fantastic ‘Archers Themed’ meal for all ninety eight  ‘Academic Archers’ plus a few more of us in the evening – The Bull was packed to the seams.
