On the beach 49/365

Huge work is underway in 2017 to restore Dawlish Warren's beach and dunes to their full glory.  It is shocking to see how little of the beach remains after a few years of winter storms. The wave-breaks which were once almost buried in places now stand clear, metres above the surface of the beach.  Good luck to the Environment Agency on the project..
