Candy Shop

After a lovely lunch at the Cul del Mon restaurant (if you have a chance, visit) in Girona we had a stroll through the old Town to let lunch settle.

On the Rambla in Girona is a little double windowed shop that sells forbidden fruits (that is to a borderline type 2).Decorated to match the art deco style of the interior it is jewel like, a shimmering gem amongst the many architectural treasures in the old city.

Yesterday there were four little girls with noses pressed against the window admiring the chocolates and torrons on display, I waited until they moved on but would like to have taken a video  of their infectious excitement.

It was a day of infinite blip opportunities, the cathedral spire against a vibrant blue sky, the old monastery, and my extra photo today the moss covered bridge in St Daniel.
