Leeds Central Station Wagon Hoist

Leeds Central Station closed in 1967 and all that remains is this steam powered wagon hoist building and part of the viaduct. This building once connected with the viaduct at the upper level and wagons were lowered down to the goods yard level by the hoist.
Now the area has been redeveloped beautifully with interesting architecture and plenty of green spaces.
