An Avid Lensman

A Cascade of Catkin...

...a Plethora of Pussy Willow.

A Liberace of Lambs Tails

I don't know what the collective noun for these yellow fluffy things actually is...

...Continuing from yesterday's slight Spring theme - HUGE thanks for all and every view, star and Heart on my rather lovely tree!

However, some walks are more about the walk and the walking and less about the quality of the photos and today, starting out in yet more fog, I soon got rather too fascinated in potential high contrast, possibly fairly ugly graphic studies of dead stubble - big, scary peg like maize stubble  -  porcupine needles,  lines of it!

BUT, you don't want that!

And I don't want to edit any now, either!

So far did I walk, never quite following any real actual footpaths, I managed to veer into an adjoining county, via watching four deer grazing in a huge field  - "cheap lawnmowers", I would have said, 'as they're not deer to run, as they don't need petrol' ha ha ha ha

But those were still rather tiny despite 800mm eqv (35mm terms) but I did watch them for an hour. I don't think they even saw me, or were aware of me and I left them when one actually lay down, facing the other way - hardly a sign of them being disturbed in any way, which is exactly the way I like it.

But not the noise and flounce created by the actual real life fox? hunt that I found myself amongst! Whilst I was still lost and possibly trespassing, posh man in red tunic on fine horse, instead of giving me a right royal rollicking, announced "Good afternoon,, Sir!"

This was not a scene I was keen on being any part of and so got myself even more lost trying to get as far from them as quickly as possible.

At least I can now soothe my aching feet and tired limbs in a steaming bath, which I am going to enjoy NOW!

Good evening, everyone!
