Perth Painting
We weren't being collected from our hotel until 6pm so decided to travel into Perth City Centre which necessitated catching a bus near the hotel and then a train. The lovely bus driver continued chatting to us as he drove to the station, and other passengers joined in. They're a friendly helpful bunch in Oz!
After a walk around Perth City Centre we stopped for a cuppa in the London Quarter which is a narrow mock tudor lane imitating London, UK. Nicely done and a lovely atmosphere.
The blipfoto is taken of part of a 360 degree painting inside one of the shopping centres. Such a typical Australian beach scene that was ideal to sum up Australia as my last photo from this vast country. We wandered around the centre taking in the harbour, city hall, old fire station, and Perth Cathedral all of which I took photo's.
We got back to the hotel about 3pm to enjoy a couple of hours around the pool/jacuzzi before being picked up at 6pm by Karl, our ex-pat driver of 28 years that had dropped us at our Perth base only four days ago. Another stop that's gone so quick.
