A little bit of cat

I took a cycle ride through our local nature reserve, St Nicholas Field. I was looking out for signs of spring. No flowers to be seen and then I spotted these lovely catkins festooning this bush. The extras are a gorse bush in flower and the meadow which had horses on it previously (see the extra on this one) is now horse free as they have done their work here for the year.
