Mel Tor View

We were out on an 8 mile walk with the local walking group on Dartmoor today.  The day started misty as we arrived at Newbridge where we just about found a parking space amongst the numerous kayak laden vehicles.  The River Dart is fast flowing and popular with canoeists here. We quickly headed up to the moors, on this very still quiet day.  Such a contrast to last Saturday when it snowed. The sun was starting to break through as we arrived at Mel Tor for our coffee break, see blip.  Then we headed over to Ponsworthy and Leusdon before returning along the River Dart.  A great day out with a final stop in a local pub for beer and cream teas.
