Velodrome - Olympic Park

Paid a visit today - first time we have been back since the 2012 Paralympics and it was lovely to see the number of people making use of the venues and the space. Andrew had a 1 hour session riding a bike around the velodrome - it was one of his Christmas presents. Terrific fun, the only disappointment being that he didn't take a tumble. I think Simon and Jack were secretly wishing he might just for the comedy value.

I tried taking pictures of the riders inside the velodrome but foolishly only took the compact camera with me and boy is it woefully inadequate for this type of photography, talk about shutter lag! I did manage two half decent shots and they are included as extras.
