The end of the summer #1: La vendange approche.

I love the colour of these grapes. They are in the little park where I walk my dog. There are two mini vineyards; one is a free-for-all (they had all been picked) and one was covered for picking at the right moment. I had to remove a bit of the cover delicately so I could get my camera under it and get my blip.

I got chatting to a couple in the park who told me that it would be children from the local school who will pick them and make wine from them! Start 'em young. Only in France...!
