Happy Birthday Blip!

I bought my first ever digital SLR camera in March 2011. I was afraid to even take it out of the box! Then I joined Blip in April 2011 and have used it every day since. In fact, this photo is a reenactment of my first post - a male house finch at the feeder on my back porch. Same feeder, same camera and lens, probably a different finch.
At first I joined Blip to build my confidence in taking pictures, and it has. I have learned a lot from, and been inspired by, the many posts I follow, and stumble upon. 
But now I know Blip is more than a photo forum, it is a unique group of caring, fun, and inspiring people from all around the world.
It is an honor to be here.
