Super Gran

Yesterday would have been my gran's 91st birthday. I was going to capture a photo then, but the evening disappeared thanks to a boy who couldn't sleep, so tonight, a day late, here she is.

I miss lots of things about my gran but lots of day to day things remind me of her too. She died just over two years ago but it has been this summer I think I have missed her the most.

What's the thing that really gets me? Postcards.

Everytime I'm in a position where I might buy a postcard I feel a deep pang of loss and I'm left wondering who to send one to.
