Lychnis coronaria 'Alba'.......

.....as it takes another form, 'Alba' petals become wrinkled and shrunken with age taking on a more delicate shade of brown while the seed head ripens - a beautiful derelict stage.

I have several of these plants, they self seed and just 'pop up' whenever and wherever they feel like it. One plant is heavily laden with lovely white flowers while another is mostly finished but there are more plants waiting to 'come on board'.

A quieter day after concert-going last night. I put a blip up of Brooke Fraser mid-day today and a few words to describe our night.

And now I'm going to rest my tired eyes and have an early night.
