Desirable Derelict.
As Mr P was collecting two friends for an early run l decided to tag along when l knew they were going to park up at Burnsall and run to past Grassington and back.
As we started to descend into the village l asked to get out of the car and arranged to met them on the village green in a couple of hours.
It was one of those mornings when the weather couldn't decide what to do, mostly damp and misty, grey skies, the occasional shower of rain and sometimes the sun trying to sneak through.
On reaching the village I decided to walk on the path next to the river cross the suspension bridge to Hebden then retrace my steps.
On returning to the village l took the path to the church then through the village and headed towards Appletreewick.
Checking the time l retreated and got back to our car just as the runners returned.
They were pleased with their time and l had walked another five miles.
Lots of photographs to choose from, too many really but in the end l settled for this derelict building deciding that if l ever win the lottery l will buy it!
Thanks to 60 Plus for hosting DS?
Back home we got cleaned up and went for a vegetarian pub lunch at our local at the end of the street.
Now trying to motivate myself to go upstairs and fill some bin bags to send to the charity shop.
