Enough sunshine for the beach

Staying in a lovely cottage near Whitby for a half term mini break. Poor Alf is still hobbling about so we're very limited on what we can do but we carried him down to the beach and he was happy to sit with me on the picnic mat and watch the world go by.

Spent the day on the beach at Sandsend. Then back to the cottage for a film night - Charlie and the Chocolate factory (Gene Wilder version).
