Big shadows

Love the big shadows on this!

Last day of mini break. We were packed up early and off to the beach again. Toby and Eva have said that Sandsend is their favourite beach ever! Unfortunately it was pretty busy today so was hard work with Nell as she has become very reactive around other dogs. We can't really pin point where it all started (possibly after a neighbours dog attacked her) but it's getting worse so we need to get a behaviourist to help. She is feeding off Alfie's need to dominate and protect but takes it one step further and will not tolerate any other dogs in her space at all. Unfortunately the beach is full of people who allow their dog to bound up with no voice control who sadly don't appreciate that whilst their dog might be playful and friendly the dog on the end of the lead may not be and this can be very stressful if you are trying to focus your dog. People generally don't think. Or only about themselves anyway.

Had a lovely lunch then decided to head down the coast to Hunmanby gap which is a huge beach with plenty of space for the dogs. It was a bit of a trek for Alf to hobble down to the beach but he really enjoyed it as it's over a week since he has been able to have a proper walk bless him.

Eva got herself absolutely soaked running through all the pools on the beach and laughing her head off! Nell and Charley had a good run/swim.

Long journey home now.
