Sunday Allotment Update!

I've added a few photos One from one of the first weekend we worked, Me from yesterday and Tooli and Him from today!

five people told us today that we had done loads of work, and things were looking good. 

Myself?  I'm having to say that I am a bit excited that the ground I've been working on is alive with Worums!   He dug it over, I've raked, pulled weeds, raked again, pulled some more, rake and pulled some more.  Then today, I added fish meal and bone something. Apparently that is correct.  

I raked and pulled some more - and Now I have a new tool it goes in, you turn it round and it kind of "toils" the soil.   It meant I could pull even more "cow grass" out. 

Don't think I was the only one doing work.  Himself was digging over the other quarter, and then re-aligning my border work last week... and then closing off areas for trees.  

Toolibelle arrive to ceremoniously erect the weather vane she gifted us, along with tools at Christmas time  and after she sat on her arse for 20 minutes, we managed to get her to bag some rubbish for us, and we cleared that away 

It's all starting to look like we could actually plant stuff.     Together we've put in  2 hours on Saturday and 3 hours today.  I only managed one hour last weekend... Himself did about 4. 

Not only did we manage this - and collect our membership cards, but I also weeded the front garden (no point in keeping an allotment nice, if I can't keep home garden tidy ... and him sawed some more fence poles and stakes. 

Tooli has finally completed 7 seasons of Gossip Girl.. it's become a bit of a challenge for her, to complete the whole thing ... it's driven us insane. I'm glad I'm not going to witness anymore bitchy Blake or Charmless Chuck any more...  





Ps. I forgot. I actually got sun burn yesterday - my wee cheeks were glowing
