Untold story

An untold story,
Remembered with pink roses,
Silent by the lake.


Came across these roses, placed in an old tree trunk by the lake.  Who put them there and why?  A remembrance of someone?  Left by un unwanted lover?  We will never know.  

A passer by said that as I was photographing them, the story may come to me in a dream...... will report back tomorrow ...
