A journey to Iona

No time to sort out my many varied pictures from our wonderful day trip to the Isle of Mull, and then Iona. We are leaving to head south tomorrow, staying overnight in Northumberland, so I'll probably write more when we finally get home. There are so many views and captures of moments in a bountiful day.

On the return journey this afternoon we saw this beautiful heron through the window of the coach. Its stillness impresses me, and makes me remember that this ancient beautiful landscape is their world which we are allowed to share.
