Great Dorset Steam Fair

Today we went to the Dorset Steam Fair, thank goodness it was dry all day, but very muddy underfoot as yesterday it rained all day turning the grounds into a mud pond.
The event covers 600 acres hundreds of people take their caravans and stay for the 4 days.
We were in a bumper to bumper traffic queue for 2hours doing only 3 miles! On the way in. 200,000 people go to it over the 4 days.
There are lots of vintage things to see, both stationary and working, heavy horses, steam engines and rural trade stands.
About 40 steam Engines line up to provide power for the huge fun fair, which is a spectacular sight in the evening when all light up.
Very weary tonight, hard work walking in mud and wearing wellies all day!
I've used a drama filter in snapseed not sure what it will be like full size! Took this shot on my phone so that I could post it tonight.
Off to bye byes now as some of you are just starting your day! Have a nice one:-)
