Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon

The route for this event goes through our village and somehow we have managed to get on the list of helpers.   Marshalling here is quite easy because it's early on in the course. The runners go through in about 30 mins and you can be back  by 10:00am for a bacon sandwich feeling you have done your job for the day.
I am always impressed with the pace makers who know how long it is going to take them to run the race. Their job is a lot harder than mine.
