Frog

I took advantage of the weather this morning and planted some rhubarb crowns and dug up an old rose bush that was all but dead. While I was out there I thought that as the 'mini pond' ( read half a water butt dug into the ground!) hadn't attracted any wildlife, I'd empty out the water and let it refill with rain water ready for the spring. I was wrong! This little fellow was living in the bottom. Now I feel very guilty for disturbing Kermit and just hope that he had already woken from his hibernation in the warmer weather.
