Winter Thunderheads

After a hike with friends we went for a drive. We were surprised to come upon these massive thunderheads forming at this time of year. 

We stopped by the Klickitat Rails to Trails Trailhead. I have included a photo of the Swale Creek and Canyon view of the trail in the extras. Almost exactly a month ago I included an extra photo taken from this same vantage point: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2267542254103037145 . What a difference a month makes! A month ago the creek was frozen and all the landscape was snow-covered.

Here's one of the most hopeful things I read today:  Former Republican Judge Calls for Trump to be 'Impeached and Removed with all Haste' . 

An excerpt: "If he knew anything about the Constitution, he would know the framers envisioned just the situation we have now — a would-be dictator. They provided checks and balances — such as an independent judiciary to protect us from presidential tyranny."

He concludes: "All the above bothers me and should appall all Americans. We must admit we have elected a president who has immediately proved himself to be a grifter, a pathological liar, a mean-spirited bully and dangerous to American values.

"This not-ready-for-prime-time show is too dangerous to continue. America is at stake."

Thanks for comments and stars for "Doing Time or Jail Break-In". We need a bit of levity in these unsettling times.
