fig and roquefort...

...and a wonderful combo to celebrate the arrival of A and L.

Pulpy sweet, delicious and fresh picked the figs are from an Italian nonna's garden just up the road.
Tangy, crumbly and equally delicious, Roquefort is not exactly up the road! but when I visited A and L in France a few winters ago we visited Roquefort-sur-Solzon and the caves where this cheese was born.

What a combo!
