Java Sparrow

It always seems a mixed blessing that we can see beautiful birds in captivity.  Without aviaries we would never have the opportunity of seeing and admiring them but it is always tinged with sadness that they can never be free.   In this local park they seem to be well fed and watered and happy among their feathered friends and much admired by lots of visitors, especially little children.
