The wind in his hair . . .

The Blue Door charity shop in Kirkwall is available to any charity on a weekly basis and this week our local village hall is in there, so I was volunteering this morning.  Lots of interesting bits and pieces, clothes and books and bric-a-brac, but I restrained myself and just bought a huge, bright red, floral scarf.  A bargain at £1.50!

Home in horrible sleety rain, with the waves coming over the barriers, but by the time I'd had lunch it was a bit better, and I was able to take Ollie and Scratch out between the showers.   Too windy to take photos standing up, had to sit/lie down to avoid the buffeting, but luckily I had my waterproof trews on!

Early tea before choir tonight, and it's the first rehearsal for the St Magnus festival in June when we're singing Mozart's Requiem.  Looking forward to it, as it's a good few years since we last sang it.
