Three crocheted hearts.
I have photographed these three crocheted hearts as a focus for my blipfoto.
The weather is very low light and raining.
Good for the gardens.
Should you wish to try and make a crocheted heart, here is how to do it.
If you already crochet it is very straightforward.
Use a 3.50mm, or a 4mm crochet hook with some double knitting wool.
Chain four.
Make 3 triple crochets into the first chain. Then, work 3 double crochets still in that first chain.
Chain one crochet stitch, then one triple crochet stitch, then one chain.
This forms the point of the heart.
Work 3 double crochet stitiches.
This makes the second side of the heart shape.
Work 3 triple crochets.
Then 3 chain stitches.
Join with a slip stitch through the centre of the heart, the original first chain.
Neaten up the ends using a bodkin needle.
The heart may be used as a bookmark, or several hearts could make a decorative long chain to bring cheer to a dark corner.
Four sewn together make a small flower.
Enjoy.
