Making music

Heather's godparents are staying with us for a few days. Harald, her godfather is a professor of psycholinguistics and a former colleague of mine. He also plays the harpsichord, but was making do with our piano while accompanying Heather on her cello.

Harald is one of the most encouraging, collaborative researchers that I had the pleasure of working with and it was very special indeed to hear him encouraging Heather. The improvement in her playing was amazing.

Needless to say, Heather would stop and GLARE at me if she saw me approach with the camera, so this one is taken from behind the kitchen door. I do like the effect of one being behind glass though.

A wonderful memory to treasure.
