Upper Leanachan
I have just coined that name for this walk. It is the highest harvesting road in Leanachan Forest which in truth carves quite an ugly scar across the face of the slopes which lead the eye to the Grey Corries sky line.
We set off thinking about going to Intake 7 but Mrs SJR had never been here before so we took this route.
I had the big camera with me and its big front lens element caught rain droplets every shot I took with it. The tiny bit of glass on the phone stands a much better chance of evading water.
The 8 km that registered on the fitbit tells half the story because this walk presents quite a bit of ascent.
