Campaign day1

Today i went out into another grim grey day to start delivering the first of my County Council Election leaflets - 600 hand delivered, 1800 to go, then repeat twice more...
26000steps on mostly concrete pavements just wasn't fun - but i did meet some fascinating people, and even got a couple of them to say they'd vote for me.
Im under no illusions that this is a near impossible task, overturning a huge majority in yhe very heart of conservative country - but I also know I need to try, if only so I know I did.
And who knows, sometimes, if you put the miles in, get your head down and put the graft in - well sometimes you look up and find it's become a lovely day.
