Dunelm

I spent nearly 3 hours today in Durham Cathedral, just admiring. I've been looking at photos of it for years, and looked longingly at it from the train a few times, so I decided that I would go today. It does not disappoint--an amazingly untouched structure from the late 11th century, when romanesque was fading and gothic coming into vogue. Photographs, however, were VERY strictly forbidden, so I can't show you anything, I'm afraid.

A scone was had later. Fine, but not a patch on AG50's.
