English Bridge

We had a day trip to Shrewsbury to celebrate David's birthday with him and Maureen.
Rather good weather down there in the Welsh borders, with blossom coming on the trees.
We took a coffee cake(yummy) and were treated to roast dinner at the Peach Tree restaurant (scrum my).
Then took a stroll to the English bridge which apparently has been rebuilt several times, see extra photo, and is now wide and splendid!
Rather a damp return to Kendal, with drizzle and then fog.
