hardly worth buying

It was a bit on-and-off all afternoon but when I looked out of the window before leaving my desk there was snow falling. I looked out of the window after changing and there was still snow falling, with a bit of wind to direct it into people's faces. It felt snowy in the car park, so I fished out my anorak. A mile later there was no longer any snow and a feeling of horrible sweatiness, so the coat came off again.
