Pond maintenance

We try to prune the Willow on the Island every year, and today was the day! One person rows out to cut the branches then puts them into the boat. Another person holds the rope then hauls the pruning's in the boat to the bank, empties the boat, then pushes it back to the person on the Island!
After that we had a bonfire and a cup of coffee!
