Heron Lidl Run
Grey Heron over the river caught on my wander to the shop.
Then I went for, what has become, my "usual" run. It's a little short at 8.6K but does include the summit of Arthur's Seat (and I now make a point of going right up to the Trig Pillar!) so I'm getting some hill work done too. It was the fifth time I've done it in three weeks and was delighted to have beaten my previous quickest time (and 11 minutes faster than the first time) so I seem to be getting fitter. As A pointed out a couple of days ago, it's ONLY four weeks till the opening run of the Lakeland Trails series. And it's 18K.... yikes! I've not run that distance since last June's Lakeland Half Marathon. I think my next run should be a long one - just to make sure I can, literally, go the distance!
