Seatown, Cullen
Days are so long and busy when we are on holiday.
His Lordship and I went on a tramp first thing this morning round Cullen harbour and along the beach till we joined the old railway line to return to the town. While HL read his paper and looked round antique shops daughter # 1 gave me a hairdressing session with some French braiding and general styling.
Lunch was a late one at Johnstone's Mill in Elgin where the clientele appear to be the county brigade because the clothes are beautiful and prohibitively expensive.
To even up matters, before arriving at son#1's for supper, we spent time trawling TKMaxx to no avail- quite what we were looking for we will never know.
Supper was wonderful as usual with the family and we were regaled with chanter and piano playing by Finlay and with art by Anna. When the twins were born 11 years ago, I spent a fortnight with them when they first came home from hospital and now they are nearly as tall as me and grown up. Where has the time gone ?
What hasn't changed is their anathema to the camera, and so my blip is of the houses in Seatown, the old part of Cullen on the beach road.
