That is the only way I can describe what I feel when I look at these beautiful Back Swans.  I came across two today, serenely feeding on a small wetland lake. Apparently they alternate between a nearby farmer's dam and this stretch of water on the edge of a housing estate. The curve of that neck gives me goose bumps. There is such a serenity about them that one can only  leave for home feeling a little less ruffled by everyday life. They are unique to Australia and New Zealand, but have been exported world wide as a decorative bird for large gardens. Not at all surprising.
