European Eagle Owl

I'd just been to Argos to buy a couple of 32Gb memory cards and on my way out of the shop i bumped into a guy carrying this European Eagle Owl, i asked if he'd wait around until i got my camera out of the car which was about ten minutes away, sorry i have to be some where, was his reply. Isn't that always the way of things.
I enquired if he gave displays or flew his owl at shows, turns out it's just a family pet.
Just managed to get this shot as he turned away..........

Wish i'd followed him down the precinct now to get a better shot, but i didn't like to hassle him.

Missed oppertunity i feel.
