Street Cards

These people are playing what we refer to as Chinese poker. I am not sure if there's a game that is similar anywhere else. It is a very, very common game. If you take a short walk in most any direction on any given day, you won;t be able to walk far without seeing a few games. It is played by everyone. Workers on a break, people passing their leisure hours, people in bars and pubs.. just about anywhere, any time.

This game is very sedate. Most games are very animated with people slamming their cards down when they are able to play. It's very entertaining to watch and loud discussion about how the hand was played often follows the end of the game.
