Gently down the stream

Tulip too.. WildWed47

Sorry, yes, another tulip, this time in mono.  And with a bit of a nod to early twentieth century photographer Imogen Cunningham and her magic mono image of a magnolia, taken in 1925 and shown at Tate Modern's 'The Radical Eye'.

Don't tulips have a magnificent texture to their petals, like ribbed and quilted silk?

Apart from that today has been undemanding but slightly sad.  My old gent is still rather flattened from his fall and I talked to a very good friend this morning who is far from well.  But at least the pup's arrival is booked for 15th March.

I've just realised I should tag this for WildWed, if the very kind Cailleach will allow a tulip to be wild (Wild?  It was furious!).  Thanks, Cailleach :)

Well, we've mostly got over hump day.  Wishing you a happy evening  xx
