A Flowering rainbow.

We braved the wind, and went to see the crocuses at Roundhay Park.
The warmer weather and sunshine had really brought them out.
We weren't disappointed .
Just stunning. What a wonderful mix of colours.
I took the photos before we went for a walk round the lakes, and through the woods.
A good move as by the time we got back it was cooler, a bit mizzley , and they had closed up.

We had coffee in the Lakeside cafe, and then decided to treat ourselves to lunch in Headingly.
First place we tried was closed, the second was closed for refurbishment , and so it was third time lucky.
I decided on mussels, but they hadn't any left.
Just wasn't my day.
However the waitress suggested an aubergine dish, which was a bit like lasagne , and was delicious.

We have just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow .
Better batten down the hatches as Storm Doris is coming.
I hope she won't be quite as bad as they say.
