More straw ....

Another day of comings and goings. One staff member not here so sent another one to finish spreading dung from a cattle shed. As it turned out , muggins here actually finished the job and had to bed the cattle afterwards as it was after knocking off time.
A couple of the St Boswells auctioneers called in to see some cattle so I have booked 10 in for next weeks sale to test the waters.
The contractor turned up to spread dung from a midden on a stubble field so it can be ploughed. He also came for 2 loads of oat straw I have sold him. Managed to load his big artic trailer without any mishaps .
Junior back home after a night away at a pals house , and some photos from Littlemiss enjoying her school ski trip . By the sound of tonight's weather forecast she could have stayed at home as heavy snow due before morning. Roll on summer.
