Lavender day

It's festival week starting tomorrow. My baby girl is being so grown up about the fact she's not dancing. Shes excited about the things we have planned instead and looking forward to hearing how her friends do. But I still wanted to soften it a little and today got her new dance school leotard to remind her of what amazing excitingness is to come- joining the new school has already opened up so much to her. The new lavender leotard was a good physical reminder. Suits her too!

She's very ready for half term though. Her music lesson this morning started well but went South by the end (though that was met with a lot of gracious understanding from B). Time at home before musical theatre later on. I'm not sold on this class, but we are giving it a fair try before a final decision!
