A Wild Coast-Line
Today we drove the three hour journey from Napier to Gisborne, taking 7 hours to do it. Lots of stops for photos and sight seeing and regular stops for coffees and cuppas.
At one stage we diverted to Mahia Peninsular. This Blip was taken there on a high cliff overlooking a rough sea. It was a great detour and we especially liked a big sweep of sand curving aound with a cliff backdrop. It would be a marvelous place to camp with a family.
We are now in Gisborne overnight and will wend our way back to Napier tomorrow after exploring this town. My daughter has been the driver and she has done a marvelous job - thanks Jo.
Silly me forgot to pack my ipad to download photos, so this is a blip from my phone.
