Back to the lakes

Sadly, it's been almost 6 weeks since I've been to my favourite local lakes. However, I finished a big writing job yesterday, and just couldn't hold out any more. Took the 10 minute cycle this afternoon and spent an idyllic hour and a half taking a very slow circular walk around both lakes. I only saw two other people - bliss. I was excited to see a heron but it was too far away to get a decent blip.
