Az Trip Day 9: Mists and Monuments

This morning was the last we would see of K and E on this trip. Today they would be heading back down to Sedona to fly home tomorrow and we would be heading back to Page for a couple of days before returning the RV in Phoenix and flying home ourselves.

Having agreed to one last sunrise shoot unless it was puring with rain We woke to a misty drizzly morning. I headed over their RV 1/2 before sunrise and we headed over to the Monument Valley visitors center with the hope of the clouds clearing in time to give a nice red skied sunrise behind the Mittens and Merrick Butte.

Well thats not exactly what we got. We got mist and low clouds instead. Even though it wasnt what I wanted I do quite like some of the shots that I got of the mists and clouds swirling around the monuments.
