Corsican hellebore
But not Corsican weather unfortunately. Wisley was a hive of activity today with work in the new tropical garden going on apace and trenches being dug everywhere for the new KIPS buildings. More modestly, things were also busy in Seed with lots of labelling, packing and dispatch to keep up with the orders. Most of the Wednesday girls were in today - it's been a while so really good to see everyone and catch up with stuff. Best of all, the hellebores are looking glorious. Thought I'd blip one of the less showy sort; understated but still lovely.
I went down to Matt Pottage's office to model my decapitated (remodelled?) volly hoody. Fortunately he approved of my mods and agreed to let the other vollies know they could set about their hoods with scissors too. Honestly, I do wonder whose idea it was to choose bright purple oversized hoodies as our uniform. Uncomfortable and incongruous with silly pockets whose contents spontaneously eject themselves if you bend down. Worst of all they stand out in the garden like Tinky Winky in Teletubbyland.
