According to Ipsos Mori (via letters in the Guardian) in the 2015 election more baby boomers voted for Labour, Lib Dems and Greens than for the Tories. I feel strangely vindicated.
 
This sits with Hannah Arendt's theory that many people who don't usually vote (she calls them the masses) will turn out to vote if they are offered one apparently black and white subject but don't vote when elections cover many complex issues and that hence, referenda can be dangerous.........or good, depending upon your viewpoint.
